Wondering weirdly

I have been very lucky lately fishing for info down the internet river, in fact my boat's fit to sink, so I've come here to unload a little.

Earlier today I hooked a phrase that I had only recently contemplated myself - served up here without much explanation this this may seem like a fish out of water but why not come along anyway just for the ride.

This is the phrase I read today;

"According to legend Isis used Horus' repaired Eye to bring Osiris to life in the underworld. Is Earth the underworld?"

So let's wonder a bit weirdly - "Is Earth the Underworld?"

I'm no expert upon creation myths but I've done a bit of reading in the course of my travels.

Mixing myth & wild speculation in an earthenware bowl I have been wondering about the significance of the Sun - well we know it's important, damn important to this world, but also it's so hysterically historically important. Think of those blood spattered Aztecs who had to keep the sun on course by chopping out human hearts or the Egyptians with their obsession with Ra or even Christianity's very own Son (Sun) of God.

Many creation stories tell of a time of darkness when Earth & sky were squished together & all was in darkness.

As I've had such luck fishing lately I thought I'd serve up a feisty little fish dish with a cheeky source just for a Sunday evening treat.

What if humanity or the souls or spirits that we in essence are, hold a light within us? And what if a world existed where there was no light? What if light-bearing souls (us) were tricked or trapped into this dark world & what if with our appearance, 'light' ie the sun was born?

What if the sun rises & sets with the appearance & disappearance of these light bearers (us) as we sleep?

What if sun worship, sun symbolism & sun sacrifices are all part of a clever method to keep the sun creators stuck in a world they do not belong?

What if we are the light of the world?

If,... if this is the underworld, how differently would you look upon it? How important would success or flash house or flash car really be, if our location, location, location was depressingly subterranean?

What if the gods, those god awful gods of mythology, were the harbingers of our fall into this dark place? Perhaps they needed some lamps for their palaces & human glow worms were the in thing that year!

Could the extra activity happening on the sun now simply be us waking up? Could we harness our own solar energy enough to give us a way out or through?

Do the ptb need to keep us dumbed down because they can only handle so much of our light - is that what all the media, food, pharmaceutical etc. drugging is all about - dimming the light to manageable proportions?

These are just some thoughts on a Sunday evening to free up some more mind-space for my next article. Thanks for sharing a bit of wondering weirdly with me. Please feel free to add your own.

All the best to you.

Seeing double (again)

For some bizarre reason I find playing with Hollywood twins kinda fun, so I'm at it again. I would like to note that no actors were hurt in the making of this article.

A little while ago my son showed me how to save & paste images together using a very basic programme & I love it - it's really fun seeing who twins up with who & even more wickedly fun when I try them out on my son & he can't tell one from the other (he's a very good sport about it all).

So where to start?

How about with the man who would be prince (Hamlet) & then King (Henry V, Lear & Richard III).

Comments by Michael from Hidden Agendas & Aferrismoon on Twinsel Town reminded me of an article by Gavin from Atlantean Times suggesting that Sir Laurence Olivier sired the knight apparent, Heath Ledger.

http://atlanteanjournal.blogspot.com/2008/05/bobby-fisher-garry-kasparov-heath.html
(excellent article that is well worth a read).

So I thought I'd have wee looksee at the man of that moment.

I was not familiar with Laurence Olivier, wouldn't have known him from bar of soap, but his name had been branded into my brain from an early age, along with a kind of drip-fed understanding that he was (& wiki concurred) "generally regarded to be the greatest actor of the 20th century."

Wiki also went a little further down a route that both these gentlemen traversed, one on film & one in real life (apparently), that of having male lovers. Once again I find myself surprised at the difference in the images portrayed by actors in both reel & real life. Wiki suggests Olivier had an affair with actor Danny Kaye (well I was surprised) & even an embrace with Marlon Brando. At the very least this was an interesting character twinning between two actors linked together by a formidable writer. Indeed I have been wondering if twinning doesn't run a little (or a lot) deeper than I first thought.

While speculating on images of Laurence Olivier, my mind did it's own little rabbit out of a hat trick & very (very) strangely produced a twinning of one who not only would, but did 'be king'

...at cross purposes in the above pic we have 'Larry' & Prince Rainer - a reel prince twinned with a real prince who married a reel actress & created a reel real princess.

As my mind & I were having quite a bit of fun coming up with alter egos for Larry, we turned our attention seaward, made like Captain Nemo & headed on a Voyage to The Bottom of the Sea...

whereupon Baron Olivier twinned up very nicely with actor David Hedison.

On our return to the surface, Larry had one last trick up his sleeve. With dyed hair & (extra died friend), he transformed himself from a Danish Prince into an agent for his U.N.C.L E & became Illya Kuryakin.

With such an astounding twin-ensemble, perhaps wiki's praise was justified. Interestingly, the man who would be (& often was) king had his ashes interred in Westminster Abbey "alongside some of the people he has portrayed in theatre and film, for example King Henry V."

Anyway we're just having some fun here, so lets see what other Twinsel Town family members popped out of the same hats.

Under interrogation, a friend claimed to have never noticed any look-alike actors. A short time later the conversation ended thus, "Although I always used to get Lee Marvin & James Coburn mixed up" - well, say no more!

& she was not the only one;

"I always have to think twice on Lee Marvin and James Coburn though I'm not really sure why. They don't look that much alike."

My friend Ben from HPANWO had a little link running on a forum & I nabbed the following comment.

"Johnny Depp has always reminded me of Christopher Walken, although I could never really explain why. I've always wondered if Depp could be Walken's son.I remember being amazed when I watched the film Sleepy Hollow (Depp plays the main character) and Christopher Walken turns up towards the end in an uncredited cameo."

I do so enjoy the honesty that runs through many twinning comments. I don't know why, but phrases like "I don't know why but..." warm the cockles of my heart. I honour that phrase because I recognise that the speaker is risking the ever-present threat of ridicule by speaking of something they feel or sense but can't prove.

I must admit I was quite impressed with our speakers awareness. Both characters also seem to twin in their preferred role placement in the twilight zones of Twinsel Town.

A comment on that article also led me to a twinning pic of Leonard Cohen & Dustin Hoffman which I now can't find - although below is the image of Leonard Cohen that was used

Now I have to admit I went a bit wild on this one because I kept seeing other faces in his face.

Like Laurence Olivier, I wouldn't have known Leonard Cohen if I fell over him, but I was familiar with the name. Below is a little number I've dubbed Loads of Leonards - these are the faces that came to my mind when I contemplated Len's face

You may well wonder what Martin Landau is doing in there, I don't know why but... somehow in my research he just seemed to follow on from Jeff Goldblum. I had previously been having a look at Landau because his twin popped up in an episode of Alias Smith & Jones

Very strangely indeed, Landau & twin have the same initials (ML). The latter also twins in name with my Loads of Leonards ensemble, being none other than Mark Lenard. Lenard played sire to the 'Leonard' who prospered in the tv series, Star Trek

Father & son -
Leonard Nimoy & Mark Lenard. Keeping things in the Hollywood family tradition, I found that Mark Lenard "also guest starred in several episodes of the original Mission Impossible, including one with Leonard Nimoy." While of course Mission Impossible was Martin Landau's most famous earthbound day job. Hollywood has certainly kept a very tight (& small) ship.

In re-watching the 70's tv series Alias Smith & Jones, I came across a number of other twinnings. One in particular is so blatant (to me) that I can't believe no one (including me) spotted it earlier.

It's funny but in digging a little deeper into twinning, I see there's a lot more to it than simply a similarity of facial features - perhaps this is what leads to the phrase. "I don't know why, but..." It seems that story lines keep overlapping, both in the reel & real worlds.

From wiki "The series [AS&J] was inspired by the success of the 1969 film Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, starring Paul Newman and Robert Redford. There were a number of connecting themes: one of the heroes was named Kid Curry which was also the nickname of Harvey Logan, an associate of the real Butch Cassidy (unlike the TV version however, the real Kid Curry was a cold-blooded killer).
The series also featured a group of outlaws called the
Devil's Hole Gang which was based on the Hole in the Wall Gang from where Cassidy recruited most of his outlaws."

So I think we could say that we have a fairly good twinning under way between the movie & the tv show. If you have read some of my more recent articles then you are familiar with
Pete Duel & his questionable death in 1971. Pete Duel's partner in the series was Kid Curry, played by actor Ben Murphy.

Now this is where the twinning lights started flashing reel bright, because if the following two don't share the same DNA, then I'll eat my hat.

"and a Universal studio exec added, "Here's a sort of Paul Newman look-a-like we've got under contract you can use"

"However, Ben really reached TV superstardom when he was signed up to play the
Paul Newman role in the TV series "Alias Smith and Jones", which was inspired by the hit movie "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid." (I'm fairly sure that the writer of that sentence got it arse about face - Murphy plays the Sundance Kid character - however I think the author's subconscious noted the twinning)

If you haven't watched AS&J then a couple of pics may not do it for you - for me there is something soooo very f-a-m-i-l-i-a-r. Father & son? ...or some other Hollywood DNA connection? I know not, but I sure as heck sense something. In keeping with the twinning theme, Ben Murphy went on to star in a tv show called Gemini Man (1976).

Incidentally, Murphy's "record-breaking journey started with a forgettable one-line role in Dustin Hoffman's 1967 film "The Graduate" - if you were paying attention earlier you will have seen that Hoffman is one of the gang of Leonards & of course The Graduate was that particular Leonard's passport to fame.

There was yet another sensing that came to mind with Alias Smith & Jones. In the series there is a character called Harry Briscoe, a Bannerman detective who turns up every so often on the tail & trail of our good 'bad guys.' Briscoe makes me think of Maxwell Smart (from the tv series, Get Smart) & here's where I get really weird, for these two boys make me think of someone else.

I don't know why, but...

Interestingly, Mark Lenard died exactly 33 years to the day that Lee Harvey Smart 'apparently' assassinated JFK. Twinning up with this Masonic equation we have the tv series Get Smart, where the bad guys are known as (ordo ab?) KAOS

Meanwhile we find that "Creators Buck Henry and Mel Brooks wrote Get Smart as the comedic answer to the successful 1960s spy television dramas such as The Man from U.N.C.L.E" - isn't Hollywood marvellous - it's has programmes to counter it's programmes - is that 'Lest We Awake.'

Here are another set of twins I thought I'd mention - both portrayed as great leaders - Jean Luc Picard & Gandhi

...Oh LOL this is too good -
I just typed these two names in google search & came up with this

"USS Gandhi (NCC-26632)
In the Next Generation episode Second Chances, the Enterprise-D crew find a duplicate of Will Riker that was created a number of years previously. The duplicate [twin?], Tom Riker, leaves at the end of the episode for an assignment on the USS Ghandi."

The follicle free brothers are of course Patrick Stewart & Ben Kingsley.

Another recent personal twin-spotting came via James McAvoy - throughout the movie I kept thinking Peter Parker-Tobey Maguire, indeed there were some older snippets on the net chatting about the possibility of McAvoy becoming the new Spiderman.

Back yonder in Twinsel Town I nabbed a number of other people's comments about the twinning of Tobey Maguire with Jake Gyllenhaal, as I was not familiar with the latter. However once the twinning floodgates of awareness open it's as if one actor leads on to another & then another, making the star spangled Twinsel family seem very small indeed.

Here is another intriguing Maguire twin found on the net

"Actor, Tobey Maguire from the Spider-Man movie looks identical to Canadian country singer k.d. lang. Sure, one's a guy and one's a girl (yes, she's a girl) but ya gotta admit it looks like there's been a little X-Files cloning goin' on"

"And if you've missed k.d. like I have, you'll not want to miss her performing some of her new material live. Her voice is like buttah, and I just look at her and imagine it's Tobey Maguire singing to me, so it's a win/win all around."

and have a peek here

"This is too funny. This nerdy actor from the forties, fifties and sixties looks like Tobey "
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wally_Cox

A little more swinging through the branches of the internet jungle also led to the tale of one Gerald Fraller who decided to sell his soul on line - no comment (& no bid)

"Apparently Tobey Maguire has latched onto him too, and wants to make a movie out of his life. Fraller is selling his soul to Hollywood, just like everyone else. Variety says Maguire’s production company has bought the rights and they’re planning to produce him as a feature film... The weird thing is that
Maguire actually looks a little like Fraller. Whether or not Tobey plays him probably depends on the script, but as long as it’s with his production company there’s a chance."

Man, following these trails is is like jumping through one of the portals in Crash Bandicoot,
you just never know what's round the corner - well I didn't, mind you I was pretty crap at it.

..."God almighty,"
as Father Ted would have said, I've just found another Maguire twin! - click on the link, go on - there's loads of the bastards! All right, all right I mean there's lots of eye candy (for both sexes), go on off you go & look out for Tobey's other, other brother.

http://forums.beyond.ca/showthread/t-71690.html

So what's it all about? Is it because movie producers like a certain look -well why & why so many? And can it really be that easy to find so many look-alikes who can act? I have to say I seriously get the wtf feeling.

I do not think we have any idea of how deep our programming has been.

Last night my son & I blobbed out in front of a dvd, but every so often I would pull my consciousness out of the tv & look around the lounge, bringing myself back to this world. It's amazing how you get drawn into the tele, it's just like falling asleep, one moment you are there & the next moment you are gone & you can't tell when it happened. How did we come to live in a world where other peoples fantasies & lies became so very entangled with our own?

My viewing of the goggle box has diminshed ever more in the last few months, but it has left a gap - it was what I used to do for a couple of hours in the evening for all of my life. I get a bit lost with those hours now, it was as if I'd prebooked them in for the rest of my life & I have had trouble replacing them, in fact I'm on the computer here instead. I would like to be creating in other ways, especially with my hands but I seem to have gone numb in that direction.

I can't help but think of tv as a viciously efficient tranquilliser. I was talking to my father yesterday & we discussed how many years ago & for many years, he was doped up on tranquillisers. When he finally realised how deeply he was into them he decided to break free but had one hell of a struggle to do it - this is kind of like the feeling I get with tv.

I wonder if twinning is part of the hypnotic effect that makes tv such an effective tranquilliser. What a mind fuck to be seeing the same people turning up all over the place.

Again I ask why does this twinning happen? Is it just to keep a few bloodlines in the limelight - why? Does the Seance that is Hollywood require a particular bloodtype of priest or priestess to enact the programming rituals? Is it that the double-vision effect knocks our wakening senses out of kilter? I really don't know?

The world of dreams & fantasy is so strong now that it is the stars who give us our daily bread (of programming) & we in return forgive them all their trespasses as long as they keep us in the stupour, movies & magazines that we have become accustomed to. For theirs is the kindom, the power & the glory...

..or perhaps we could just switch off the tv for a bit.

Kicking Death up the arse

Well someones got to do it, so it may as well be me, although I am looking for a band of merry helpmates! (Picture above is Father Ted demonstrating the technique on Bishop Brennan).

A friend recently introduced me to a wonderful book by a gutsy Aussie lady. At one point she has this to say "While you are learning new things, you can help yourself to learn it by teaching it to others. As you teach what you need to learn, the more you say it to others, the more it makes an impression on your consciousness."

Through my writing over the past year I have come to see that by putting my thoughts into stories I have allowed myself to integrate & work through muddy areas in my life. So now I find myself called to look into the murky waters of death - no I don't have a terminal illness, I'm just pissed off & have been for a long time.

My introduction to death came at an early age when I asked that question that all children ask their parents - no, no, not "Where do babies come from?"- the other one - "Does everyone die?" My mother's blunt reply of "Yes" without any follow-up stories that included angels & harps, left me traumatised for a very long time indeed. Somewhere along the way I buried the panic & got 'used' to the idea.

However I have retained a 'beef' with death & it goes like this (I prefer to use a child's descriptor) "it's just too mean."

I'm tired of hearing that it's just how things are, it's inevitable, it's nature, it's a part of life etc, etc. I don't buy it. Nobody knows what death is or what happens afterwards - every answer you or I are told, is made up.

My anger with death thing is for the people who are left behind -I am speaking of the intolerably cruelty of losing someone beloved. I walked through a graveyard last week, on a research jaunt - again & again & again I saw the words of pain that come from the disconnection that is death. Now if you get nabbed for committing a serious crime (like speaking your truth), you are entitled to one phone call, if you get the death sentence for it, you get to choose your one last meal, but when you or one you love dies, that's it - finito.

So what is it all about - we are so used to death, we do not question. Why does death happen & why is connection so completely severed. If we were booking our lives through a travel agent, would anyone really take the earth/human option - when we go away on holiday, we need to know that we are coming back to those we love.

So I've been having some wacky thoughts on death & in doing so found it to be a far more invasive energy than I had at first thought.

So with boot at the ready lets administer a bloody good kick up the backside of the Grim Reaper - unfortunately I couldn't find any pictures of this on the internet, but use your imagination, go on get a good mental picture! (ok time for a quick laugh, I was thinking of a Father Ted scene when I wrote that last phrase - no one should ever, ever contemplate shuffling off any mortal coils without having seen at least a little bit of Father Ted.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SzzCPHdpISo

Did you have a look at the link - ah go on!

Ok back to death.

Now a popular conception (a deliberately chosen lively word), is that the world would be overpopulated if people didn't die - great, so that reduces our lives to disposable cells in a 'greater' entity - well damn!, this disposable cell has a programming fault & thinks her life & those of others are valuable!

OK then, we're spiritual beings in human form, great so get this life outta the way & on to big & brighter things - well wtf am I doing here then?? Oh yes I forgot Great Granny & Grandad pissed off a jealous god & thus all our kind were damned as everlasting castaways. Oh hang on a minute didn't Janus, sorry Jesus come & save us, well how come we're still here - oh that's right it's all about the next life, the afterlife - be very, very good now & when when 'fate' pulls the plug & you shuffle off your mortal springs, you'll get a big spiritual payout - backdated of course.

It could be all roses on t'other side - but we don't know, however if the effects of death on this side of the veil are anything to go by then why would we be so sure?

I talked to a friend recently whose young niece died of a brain tumour some years back. I started asking her how long it took her to 'get over it', then realised that was all wrong, so rephrased with 'How long did it take you to get used to it?' She told me it took about a year, she was very, very deeply affected by this death. Hers is one of untold stories of immense suffering.

I just don't buy it - what if we were meant to understand death & keep in touch with those we loved, but our communication system got switched off? or... What if death is an invention, a device to ensure that we never have enough time to learn that which we need, to find our way off this hamster wheel? If reincarnation is real then that would work well with the latter theory because it keeps us recycling, but blocks out all our previous knowledge. I reckon if we really came here to learn something, we must surely have learned it by now - I know I sure feel like I've been round the block a shitload of times.

Last week my wondering took a wilder turn.

I wondered if death could be a red herring, a trick or camouflage to turn our attention away from real death.

Well first off, death is presented to us on a daily platter through the media. We are reminded of it through religion, through the 'evidence' of our physical bodies, through illness, through history & time & .......................... (please feel free to fill in the dots). I think the only virtually death-free zone is in the mind of a child.

But....just suppose that death is a trick of the mind? What if it's role is to camouflage something else? You see it is only in recent angry weeks & as I contemplated this article that I got to notice how death has accompanied me all my life - through apparently living people.

Now I don't know what life is, haven't a fucking clue (excuse my french, just trying to make a point) but I've been wondering if our world might actually be the Underworld of mythology. The amount of suffering here beggars belief - look into history & you just can't take on board the hideous scarring of oh soooo many generations.

But what if this world is like some kind of sticky fly-paper that we've gotten trapped on - either by accident or design. Perhaps we were playing around with spirit glue & done got ourselves stuck! Then perhaps some other energy came visiting & it's favourite toy was humans trapped on fly-paper, so it stayed & found a way to keep us stuck.

Perhaps we started getting clever, so a method was needed to keep us dumb & wriggling. A new type of cunning fly-paper was invented - it was double-sided & when a fly, sorry human manged to get free it would buzz off ecstatically only to get caught round the other side. To all his buddies he seemed to have disappeared & they were deeply saddened & held memorial services. Over time, the sticky humans accepted this Great Vanishing & called it Death & created many rituals & beliefs

The real death energy chuckled endlessly over this, for it knew what they did not. It was the living energy of the humans, scrupulously harvested, that created the glue that kept their fly-paper super sticky in the first place ho ho ho.

And how was this energy created & harvested? Why through the living dead of course.

So this is where I stand now & look with new eyes.

I've have at last become aware of the living dead. I've known them all my life, but I was tricked because they walked & talked, & we've all seen enough tv to know that the only thing dead people do is decompose. But oh how foolish I have been. My intuition has poked & prodded me for a truly embarrassing number of years & I refused to pay heed. You see, unlike the boy in the movie, Sixth Sense, I could not see the dead people. But I felt them, oh how I felt them. However I could not see them, therefore I could not prove, therefore I knew that I could not speak up.

But now I do, & I say "I feel living dead people" & I feel them everywhere. But there are some who are so much more intrusive - we could call them the tax collectors of the living dead.

I am actually intimately aware of these living dead people because I grew up with one. I do not know if the souls of these people have been stolen or interfered with or if there is a foreign energy or entity that resides within them or something else again, all I know is that something is very wrong within them & that they seem to seek to impact on the lives of the living, either to create great pain &, or to reduce others to the same lifeless state of living dead.

My mother is one of these. I cannot tell you the number of years I spent trying to understand what was going on within my family as I grew up. I still do not have words for it - if you've followed my blog you will know I have words for many things, but not this. It was a feeling, always & only a feeling.

It is only in the last week or two that I have been able to give a name to the feel & effect of her presence - it was Death. This is not an attack, simply a fact. My father has told me, that had he stayed with her he would be dead now, psychically I think he came very close. He even told me that at one point she wanted to buy a pair of coffins to store under the house, in preparation for their demise. Being in the presence of this energy over many years wore my family down in different ways. I became anorexic & spent four months in hospital, holed up in glass cage. I think the extended break away from her gave me enough strength to free myself from both her energy & that of the Catholic Church. I believe it was Ben Fairhall who wrote recently about the Catholic Church being steeped in death, I had never seen it in that light before, but that really hit home.

I could never explain the effect of my mother & there was never any proof - the living dead don't leave proof - they operate on a completely different level - it's some kind of psychic energy suction & I could go so far as to say attempted soul murder - well lets not beat around the bush, for I'm almost sure you will know, or have known someone like this. Their eyes will be very cold or in some way inhuman. They lack empathy & they lack humour. The sound of their voices drains you. Somehow they seem to know just where & how to strike for greatest effect - just as Dracula goes for the jugular, they seem to hone in on your weakest (& I presume juiciest) points.

Another thing with the living dead is that they won't hear you. So here I must speak up again for I believe that "To hear is to give life to."

In my growing up years I experienced being ignored & made invisible as a method of control - very bloody effective it is too. To ignore is to kill - something must be known or taken within us to exist. The living dead will not hear your voice, they will only hear you if you speak in their language.

Now this is where I think we need to cast our net very wide indeed, for I'm pretty bloody certain that the language we are forced to use today is death's language. I'm not saying that the English language is death's language, rather that it has been manipulated in some way so that it takes a detour through Hades on it's way to our ears.

I speak two versions of the English language - there is the one I speak here, in this blog & with my 'living friends' - it's lively, likes to joke & play round with words, gets personal & also pissed off. And then... there's the other one - a sort of flat-toned & empty verbalising that is, like visa 'accepted everywhere' - but ohh I don't like it, I get tongue-tied all the time & my emotions & feelings are like unwashed vagrants - unacceptable everywhere.

When I look at the big topics of this world, I feel this same death energy. Money has got to be the biggest bloody fly-paper around! I wonder if it, like language, has been charged with death - is there perhaps another way to use it, that we are not seeing? Govts, media, pharmaceuticals - don't they all just deal in death? - look around & around, this world is based on living death. Forget the casket of the future, you'll find it right now in the job & the bank & the newspaper - everywhere raucous laughter is missing, there will you find living death & this is where we are creating our own private fly-paper adhesive.

I wonder too if our focus has been deliberately turned towards the methods that are slowly killing us, in order to misdirect our attention away from the living dead or 'death eaters' that are their instigators. Just how much effect do the living dead have on us? Are they absorbing our energy or perhaps syphoning it off - I return to my own personal knowledge via my mother. No matter how much attention or energy I gave her, it made NO difference. I used to think she had a hole in her, for nothing would fill her up. So where did that energy go?

I'm reminded of a short story I read once about an 'All You Could Eat' restaurant & a man goes there, pays for his plate & then proceeds to eat non-stop for days (I think) - it turns out that he is long-distance-feeding his starving planet. Do the living dead syphon off energy that is then transferred somewhere else? Are they 'the living dead' because their energy has already been consumed?

I started writing this article because I had to, for myself. I finally got honest about a situation in my life ... ahem it only took about 3 years. I found myself once again having the life sucked out of me by a living dead person. This person changed & I guess I kept waiting for things to improve, giving another chance, making excuses plus I used my intellect (naughty wise woman) instead of my intuition & thus kept fly-trapping myself by seeing no way out. This is a work related matter & at present I still don't see a way out, but this is not the crux of the matter, the crux comes with my speaking up & out for myself & for what I know, but have not allowed myself to know. A great part of my rage has also been to do with the deafness of this person - where once I could speak, things changed & it was as if all doors had been padlocked shut. I am an intuitive person, developed perhaps in part from an extreme childhood, I learned to read signals & use any tiny openings when offered. My feeling-knowing of a padlocked door is very real to me, as real as any locked vault, yet I can offer no photos & no CSI investigation will find any evidence.

Yet isn't this the same experience that any & surely every truth seeker & wonderer has met with on so very many occasions - the triple padlocked ears of the media educated. These tight-shut minds are the sculptured works of the living dead who populate media & govt. Is this, I wonder, the deadliest onslaught against truth-seekers - a type of soul-death-contract taken out on all who would open their minds. I do not think we should underestimate the effects of non-listening.

Nevertheless my life force has buzzed again through the pages of this blog & the pages of others who write & the great hearts of those who lend their ears - not necessarily agreeing, but nevertheless hearing. My thanks goes to all of you.

So where does that leave us? I'm sure that way beyond the small life that we're taught to accept, is another one - in that life feelings & intuition are real, they are 'accepted anywhere.' HOW did we ever let ourselves get caught in such small lives that we could not say 'this is so because I feel it to be so?'

Still, I feel triumphant. I am bloody sure that there is a deep connection being created. As I have contemplated this article over the past few weeks, others have brought their honesty & pain forward to weave a far greater masterpiece of living. Ben from HPANWO has a marvellous story of personal remembering & healing that came through his reading of Ellis Taylor's new book Dogged Days. Ben had emailed me prior to his story & it had allowed me to tell him some of mine in return, as a result we have both posted our stories, for ourselves & for sharing.

I was walkng through a mall this week, merrily blogging away about death (in my head), when directly in front of me a young girl turned to her mother & before my very eyes & ears asked, "When you die will you come back alive again?" - I realise synchs are very personal, but I was amazed, it was like reliving my childhood all over again - this article is, in a sense, a loving & feisty answer to the child I was who asked that same question, & for all who wonder.

Here is Ben's article

Keeping an eye on the reel world

I don't know about you, but TV was very important to me growing up.

There were programmes I loved with a passion, ones that made me feel alive & seemed to understand my desire for adventure. My home life was very strange - an often grey time that I could not understand & made no sense. So I frequently slipped into TV & later books as a means to find life.

In the last few years my world has turned upside-down & that's fine, because I can no longer live well in the right-side up world. However my posts on Twinsel Town & Pete Duel brought home to me the hyper-fabrication of the world of programming that we call entertainment. I have found myself both sad & angry at the need to re-see & release what were once much loved 'friends'. Furthermore I'm wondering just how much of an effect our programmed childhoods had on us. I mean for one thing - it is all lies - it's not real & never was - actors are not the people they play, the stories are not real, the words are someone else's. It's a conglomeration of many people shaped & dandied into a mighty delusion, and while we may have 'known' it wasn't real, did our subconscious?

I have to wonder why entertainment has become so huge. My son said to me once it was because life is just not that exciting & then I wondered, "Is there a reason why our lives are dull & choked with monotony" - could it be to drive us into the arms of the 'dream world'? Seeing the depth of the awakening at least among some people I have to wonder what the world would look like now if 'dreamervision' did not programme the populace on a nightly basis.

The word entertain popped into the English language on a sunny day in 1475, it's job description being "to keep up, maintain" & it has done it's job very well indeed. It not only keeps the wheels of the Western world well & truly oiled, it's also managed to get a job in the driving seat as well as being chief navigator - should you get lost in life just look to a celebrity to lead the way.

So what were the reel reasons behind movies & TV.

Were they the natural progression of a technologically advancing(?) civilisation or were they a carefully designed programme made to slot into the minds & dreams of a traumatised world? Had humanity been ripened for a form of mind control by the 1930's? Had the 'Great War' & then the 'Great Depression' primed consciousness so much that it was ready to 'receive' the baptism of Holy-Wood?

"In the 1930's the motion pictures were the most important entertainment of The Great Depression. Everyone was going to the theaters for some entertainment. During the depths of the Depression in the early thirties an average of 60 million to 75 million movie tickets were bought each week. For a long time during The Great Depression movies were an escape from the Depression's reality. You might have an extra dime one day, so you'd go to the movies. While the reality of the Depression seemed inescapable, this short trip to a faraway land was the thing to do."

"Cinemas became temples of escapism, fabulous buildings with fabulous names built in the opulent style of the palaces of old, all marble and statues and grand entrances."

While trawling my local library a little while ago, I found a book about Blockbuster Movies dating back to 1930 (with one 'hit' movie per year featured). The first three blockbusters presented surprised me - I guess I was expecting some cutesy or romantic type movies - instead we have a smorgasbord of horror-thrillers.

1930 summoned in Dracula, 1931 saw Frankenstein dropping by for tea & King Kong knocked the whole bloody house down in 1932.

While we may laugh now, nurses were on standby for Dracula & Frankenstein, the latter 'had it's original audiences screaming & fainting in large numbers." A double-bill of these two movies was marketed to the public as 'We dare you to see it' & ambulances were parked outside cinemas on standby.

"It was in the early 1930s that American film producers, particularly Universal Pictures Co. Inc., popularized the horror film, bringing to the screen a series of successful Gothic features including Dracula (1931), and The Mummy (1932), some of which blended science fiction films with Gothic horror, such as James Whale's Frankenstein (1931) and The Invisible Man (1933). "

I'm no expert on mind control but blasting the psyche with trauma does seem to be the basic starting point so for any mind control connoisseur, the 20th century must have been a dream come true.

So let's have a little fun with some wild theories.

To play the game that follows it might be best to place what you know into a safe location where you can come back & pick it up later - it'll just get in the way if you take it with you. This game, shall we call it Mindopoly does have it's own kickoff point - it is based on the idea that TV & movies & the media were designed to have an overpowering effect on the human race.

So, what if the traumas of the 20th century were planned & unleashed to prime the human mind for future programming - what if WWI, The Great Depression & later WWII were created to drive a traumatised species into the waiting & oh so welcoming arms of a modern day Hypnos?

Looking for all the world as if they've fallen asleep in front of the telly, we find Hypnos, god of sleep, with his twin brother Thanatos, god of death. Interestingly enough these boys are the sons of Nyx or Night, the favoured time for popular programming.

"The 1930's and the 1940's have been described as "The Golden Age of Motion Pictures"... Hollywood quickly became the world capital of motion pictures. No matter where you were in the world, if you wanted to make movies, you came to Hollywood... How fitting that this decade culminated with the most extraordinary year in motion picture history...1939. Never in the history of film has there been a year which produced so many great motion pictures. When we think of 1939, we immediately think of Gone With the Wind and The Wizard of Oz but one can only gasp in awe at the list of other greats created that same year...Gunga Din, Wuthering Heights, Goodby Mr. Chips, The Women, Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, Destry Rides Again, Ninotchka, The Old Maid, Stagecoach and the list goes on!
The thirties closed with this remarkable year serving as a last gasp of innocence before the dark clouds of war descended

The above quote fits perfectly with the premise of our game - the decade that leads up to the second worldwide crime against humanity is ushered in with a stunning display of programming (rather reminds me of the ubiquitous fireworks display without which no new year can now be ushered in). The m-asses are serenaded to war down a yellow brick road until they are out of sight & gone with the wind, oops, sorry! my mistake that was no wind, that was a Sherman Tank. By the end of the '30s, public programming was firmly accepted as 'friend' to the masses, providing a weekly crossing of the rainbow bridge, out of hell & into Asgard, land of the gods (price of return journey is included in the ticket).

From wiki -"In the early days of silent movies the names of the actors and actresses appearing in movies were not publicized or credited as they are now. Some of these performers had to help build the sets, clean up and other chores around the film studio."

Well haven't things changed!

"The star system was the method of creating, promoting and exploiting film stars in Classical Hollywood cinema. Studios would select promising young actors and create personas for them, often inventing new names and even new backgrounds. Examples of stars who went through the star system include Cary Grant (born Archie Leach), Joan Crawford (born Lucille Fay LeSueur), and Rock Hudson (born Roy Harold Scherer Jr.)."

In our little game we note that for a very long time indeed the big wigs of this world have been ultra fascinated by the stars. Mythology just wouldn't be the same without them. They are the realm of the gods, our guiding light, we find our way by them - although in this game we note that we don't seem to be going anywhere.

So the movie world not only provided wonder-filled dreams, but it also took the stars from the heavens & placed them upon the earth & lo they walked among us & we were (& still are) bedazzled.

"the movie business...set out making gods & goddesses, people with an international fame never known before."

I have to say I was rather surprised to find that cartoon characters are also included in the above Hollywood Walk of Fame, but then again...

...I had a very interesting conversation with a friend this week.

She told me that when she was little she could not tell the difference between cartoon characters & 'real people'. Now I had a little trouble trying to get my head around this, but I didn't doubt what she said. My friend said that if she saw a dressed up character, you know like those big furry animals at Disneyland, she knew they were fake, but the characters on screen were as real to her as any person. I'm guessing I was most probably the same, but I don't think I ever thought about it - I just accepted what I saw (without question).

In this game I'm gonna say that I reckon cartoons enchanted the minds of the watchers with doses of extra strength magic. Before the audiences very eyes, the unreal & downright impossible were brought into existence - perhaps God is in fact a cartoonist & that's he managed to get the world underway in just seven days. In the 'reel' world - all things are possible.

Now lets climb a ladder & hop into the 60s.

By now TV had brought the enchantment into homes everywhere. Programming had shifted from a weekly to a daily basis. In the interim, the world had been re-traumatised by WWII, the children of WWI survivors had now received their own 'priming'. America being in the enchanters driving seat, popped in the Korean War for extra trauma flavour before preparing something a little grander in Vietnam.

In our game we will see the '60s as the decade where two worlds were married - so-called fact & fiction. The same altar that now sat in so many homes brought not only entertainment but also 'truth' (cough) & called it 'the news'.

The telly was a bit like our godly friend Janus - one head with two faces.

Now the thing is... everything that is shown on TV is designed to be believed - actors pretend to be someone else, shows pretend to be actual events, the news pretends to have all the facts & we the viewers are happy with that.

But what if it's not that simple? What if our subconscious mind is not so clear on what is fact & what is fiction? If the trauma of the last century was designed to herd the public into the lounge

...then surely there must be a bloody good reason for it.

If I look from the vantage point of my particular lounge & ask what has TV done for me, I'm not sure that I can say that it has added anything great to my life - especially now when I see so much of the trickery that was hidden in shows I loved.

I virtually gave heart & soul to many TV programmes & movies, especially when I was growing up. I certainly gave far more to them than they ever gave to me - it was at times a love affair - albeit one-sided.

So what is it all about? I've been thinking much since I wrote Twinsel Town, but also as far back as my article on Adrienne Shelly. In Twinsel Town I saw so many look-alike actors - I've come across even more since then, as well as readers who also left their comments - I have other mugshots on file for perhaps another Twinsel post, but right now I just want to wander & wonder a bit deeper.

The 'jarring' deaths of actors like Pete Duel & Adrienne Shelly are far removed from the twinkly starry lights of Hollywood. We're familiar with acceptable actors deaths, you know the ones caused by drink & drugs - we've been sold, at a very moderate price, the idea that these demi-gods can't always take 'the strain' & are liable to excess - it's the price of stardom.

But then there are the ugly deaths that just don't feel right at all - I will cover this when I finish the second part of my Adrienne Shelly article. For now lets open the dark door at the back of the stage & shine a light inside. I have read many times, especially in recent months about the occult nature of Hollywood. So lets just say fuck it & go all the way on this one - seeing how it's just a game we're playing and all.

What if Hollywood is one very large seance? What if some or all actors are not acting at all, but are in fact calling spirits or entities into themselves & giving them a life form that is then transferred onto cellulose or whatever medium is used to record movies today?

What if the programmes & movies we watch, & love or loath are en-crypted with other life forms or forces? What if, with the help of our avid attention they weave spells across the world.

Etymology of celebrity c.1380, "solemn rite or ceremony," from O.Fr. celebrité,

Some time ago I wrote an article called Bonding with a Time Lord - I was going to add the last part of that article here for a quick read, but in truth it won't make a heap of sense if you don't read it all - the crux of the article however is that I was left wondering if somehow a programme I had watched one evening could have somehow been part of an event that took place thousands of miles away at about the same time.

http://toolonginthisplace.blogspot.com/2008/06/bonding-with-time-lord.html

What if these spells are created to hold us & this world in a state of apathy & limbo. Hmmm perhaps we could relabel programmes as 'spells'?

My friend Devin over at My Favorite Monsters made mention of the Telesterion a little while ago - the name was too close to Televsion to leave out.

From wiki "Telesterion was one of the primary centers of the Eleusion Mysteries. At some point in the 5th century BC, Iktinos, the great architect of the Partenon, built the Telesterion big enough to hold thousands of people.
As the climax of the ceremonies at Eleusis, the initiates entered the Telesterion where they were shown the sacred relics of Demeter and the priestesses
revealed their visions of the holy night... This was the most secretive part of the Mysteries and those who had been initiated were forbidden to ever speak of the events that took place in the Telesterion.
It was destroyed by the Persians and was subsequently rebuilt some time later by
Pericles" - hmmm... if you read the final article on the Sacrifice you will know that Pericles was claimed to be a previous incarnation of Winston Churchill - a chief player in both the mindcontrol creations that were WWI & WWII.

Just one further stop down a last rabbit hole & you can get back to your own Telesterion:)

I am short-sighted & have been for a long time. Some years ago I tried a method of vision improvement. Now my sight didn't get any better, but I nevertheless learned a great deal. My teacher, Peter Grunwald, was at one time so 'blind' that he used to wear his glasses in the shower! He developed his own technique & understanding & is now glasses free. One of his main tenets is that the eye is a mirror of the body, think reflexology - each part of the eye connecting with different parts of the body - however there's a vast difference between the two concepts.

Anyway I got to wondering if the raison d'etre behind TV could have a great deal to do with owning or possessing our eyes. Could the images below be telling it to us exactly like it is?

My teacher saw the eye as one of the most vital parts of the body - it responds to all trauma & it his belief that for physical trauma to be resolved, it must be addressed through the eye. He would give me directions to focus my attention on various parts of my eye while he made slight adjustments in the corresponding parts in my body. I gained a great understanding from my time with him - although I am still short sighted it is of no great importance, I now choose to wear glasses only when compelled to & the rest of the time I live comfortably in a slightly blurry world.

According to Grunwald, glasses are cut in such a way that light is directed to the fovea centralis & 5% of the brain within the lower visual cortex receives constant & intense amounts of information. The rest of the retina is not stimulated & thus a large portion of the brain is starved of information & stimulation. Now I reckon we can apply that principle to TV watching, because our eyes are forced to focus on a small area, without depth for extensive periods of time - just what effect has that had on our brains?

He once gave me a tremendous description, (well this has always been my take on it), that one of the roles of aqueous humour, the "thick watery substance that is between the lens and the cornea" is to flow & 'filter' anything harmful or negative that is directed at us - perhaps an image would be something like standing behind a waterfall, if something is hurled at you it will be washed away before it can reach you. Now I just find this idea bloody marvellous - a natural form of self-protection for those unfair slings & arrows that get launched far too often these days. Has this form of protection been targeted & disabled through years of intense & unblinking TV watching?

Although we actually 'see' images in the visual cortex at the back of our brain, nothing gets there without going through our eyes. The eyes, it is said are the windows of the soul - there are stories of people selling their souls to the devil, but what if the devil never needed us to go that far, he just needed us to create a detour so that we couldn't find our own way back? What if we gave up ownership of our eyes by placing them before an occult shrine & worshipping on a daily basis?

What if we need to reclaim our sight & start seeing for ourselves again

Sorry, did you say encore or no more? Oh well while I'm here...
My Dad invited me to see the latest BIG movie, Australia, last night. I must digress for a wee moment to excalim "WTF' - as in wtf were clips of The Wizard of Oz & the singing & harmonic-ing of 'Somewhere over the Rainbow' doing in there???
Sorry, where was I? Oh yes, I couldn't help but note an extraordinary amount of 'eye' exposure for want of a better description - heaps of e-x-t-e-n-d-e-d camera shots of wide eyes especially by the young aborigine boy & Nicole Kidman. After the movie was over my Dad made the comment about how hypnotic the boys eye's were & how he got lost in them.

It is perhaps no accident that the sound of ourselves is the same sound with which we absorb our world - I - Eye.
