Oh Weeping Waters

Yesterday I purchased a twenty-something year old book from a second hand shop called 'Strange Facts & True about New Zealand'.

It had a section on New Zealand disasters & I thought might offer extra info for my Crux series.

Well, it was $1.50 well spent.

If you recall the article which covered the Tangiwai Disaster on Christmas Eve 1953, then what follows will make terrible sense. That Eve-nt took place one day after the newly crowned Queen Elizabeth became the first ever monarch to set shoes upon our shores.

Hopefully you also recall the mention of the Waitangi Treaty of February 6 (1840) - the document by which NZ got possessed by ...

... the rite-heavy British Crown.

Quick reminder:

On Waitangi Day, 1952 George VI died ...

& his daughter Elizabeth rose up & ascended into his shoes.

She was crowned the following year on Waitangi's (6/2) reverse date (2/6).

Elizabeth II stepped onto New Zealand's shores 6 months later. The following day 151 people died in a freak accident at Tangiwai. In the post that covered this, the word sacrifice was appliqued onto that event, though the mechanics behind it were not understood.

What was finally understood was that the names Waitangi & Tangiwai are the two sides of the same coin. One word, ever so slightly juxtaposed, their meaning - "Weeping Waters" - the sound perhaps made by a land possessed.

We return to my $1.50 bargain book that dates back to the early 80's. What it said was & yet was not, news to me.

"New Zealanders have developed a superstition about visits by Queen Elizabeth to this country, as many more serious disasters have taken place while she was here."

After mentioning NZ's worst ever train disaster (Tangiwai), the book goes on to cover our worst ever road disaster. I didn't know about this, I doubt many Kiwi's do, I don't know why.

Pussycat, pussycat where have you been?
"I've been to Waitangi to see the Queen
"

"On Thursday, 7 February 1963, a bus containing 35 passengers and the driver were making their way south from celebrations at Waitangi (near Paihia) where Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip were attending"

"Shortly after 1 p.m. on 7 February 1963 a bus descending Pilbrow Hill, in the Brynderwyn Hills, near Whangarei, failed to take the last bend before the bottom, smashed through a fence, and rolled through scrub down an almost vertical slope to the Piroa Stream 100 ft below, killing 15 of the passengers and injuring the remaining 21 ...

... Ten of those killed came from Ngati Whatua settlements in the Helensville district.
All the passengers were Maoris who had attended the royal visit celebrations at Waitangi. Subsequently, the Transport Department's inquiry found that the accident was caused by the failure of the service brakes."

"On the 7 February 2003, a monument was unveiled on the banks of the Piroa Stream and is clearly visible to passing traffic".

Words from a rememberer;
"I was a teenager I will never forget the army trucks arriving the rain the caskets being lifted from the trucks and all of us trying to find those we loved my little cousin of seven years who lost her mother sisters grandmother grandfather greatgranmother and aunties. There was never compensation as the media stated or officials. a trip to pay respect to the queen that snapped away 5generations."

I have been steeped in New Zealand stories of late, soaking up both fresh & ancient tales & busily researching for the next part of the Crux series. Out of seeming nowhere comes this information, demanding new eyes.

So let's turn the same gaze we used for Tangiwai, to Bryndweryn. Let's see what happens when we view the colonial masters as agents of a force not subscribed to by National Geographic or Time Magazine.

Let's remove our woolly glasses for a moment, & see if we find ourselves looking towards an energy/entity that requires copious feedings of ritual & sacrifice. I have no idea of the mechanics of this, but that doesn't prevent the seeing & hearing of bloody strange echoes between 1953 & 1963.

Screaming in at number one, we have Royalty aligning with a place named Waitangi (Weeping Waters). In 1963 she stands at the place where the original Treaty of possession was signed.

Echo number two: The Curious Case of the connection between Royalty & freak tragedy. On both occasions a terrible accident & great loss of life occur the day after Elizabeth II sets foot in NZ.

Echo number three: Both disasters involve vehicles being unable to brake in time, careering off track & hurtling to a baptismal destruction.

Echo number four: Drivers of both sacrificial vehicles are identically surnamed:-
1953: On the Tangiwai train the driver was Charles Parker. Also of interest was his fireman Lance Redman "Mars the God of War. Mars's emblem emphasis[es] his warlike role. His symbol was the lance..."

1963: "Even after valiant attempts by the driver Harold PARKER to slow the bus it hurtled through a wire fence and tumbled down a 30 metre almost vertical slope to the bank of the Piroa Stream."

Echo number five: The distance between these two 'disasters' - from 24th December 1953 until 7th February 1963 - it "is 3333 days from the start date to the end date, end date included."

The name Parker means "Keeper of the Park" but also paints a picture of one whose job it is to bring vehicles to a stop.

Brynderwyn is Welsh for Oak Tree Hill

"the Druid priests considered a grove of trees, especially the oak, as a sacred space for religious communion and ritual ... Oak is considered mighty ruler among trees in folklore and has come to be associated with sacred kingship."

A mighty old oak from Windsor Park

"MAGICKAL ASPECTS:Used in spells for stamina, lust, and fertility; endurance, triumph, strength, power, dominion, and prosperity. A wood of sacrifice; the guardian and liberator."

"The sacred grove of Diana at Nemi ... was a grove of Oak trees. Here the King and his tanist fought to the death for the privilege of being ritually united with the Goddess."

Presented here here patterns, pondering, a wish for wholeness & healing for both living & dead. Answers are not supp-lied, proof proves nothing.

I leave with the following quote, I am not sure what the writer was referring to, when they spoke of 'chosen ones', but felt it was rite to include.

"A tragic loss to the district was the Brynderwyn bus accident on 7 February 1963, when a group of Maori representatives from Reweti were travelling home from meeting the Queen at Waitangi. The people involved were the chosen ones and their loss is still felt by Maori and European alike. In many ways the heart was knocked out of a community hitherto working together - the effects have been far reaching."

Roses 'n' Regulus - The other half of Rose White & Star Lion Part IV

Holy shit! Who'd have thought after all these years of taking the religion-free route, I'd find myself smack bang in the middle of it once again?

Mind you, taking a second & closer look at religion is perhaps called for(th) - do you see what I see?

A recipe for ...

Holy Royal Gateau

Ingredients:
2-3 religions (fresh or son dried)

Method:
Carefully separate consonants & vowels & place in a sturdy blender (make sure lid is on firmly as this mixture is sure to rise).

Blend
'on high' then pour into bowl & leave to set(h) for three days.

On the third day you will find that your blended RELIGIONS have ...

majestically transformed ...

... into a 'LION REGIS'

"Regis is Latin for "of the King".
" There are Catholic schools called "Regis" (the king here refers to Jesus)".
"In Christian tradition, the Lion of Judah represents Jesus. Many Christian organizations and ministries use the lion of Judah as their emblem or even their name."

Amazing what pops up when you get into Holy Hor d'oeuvres.

Ok time to get serious & back on track.

One of the (w)underlying themes of this series is that stars have a mountainous effect upon our lives & our world.

Actually that really doesn't get close enough. Let's suggest that stars are as intimately powerful in our lives, as our breath.

In 'Star Mirror', author Mark Vidler witnesses a marriage of earth & stars, time after time. Most often it is the highest of mountains blending with the brightest of stars.

Vidler's extraordinary message that stars are geometrically ordered seems to ring bells from the past. In People and the Sky (Our ancestors and the Cosmos), author Anthony Aveni claims that, in the ancient knowing cultures, the most prestigious job title belonged to the Paparazzi.

Hang on a minute, I might have got that wrong.

Oh silly me,

... he meant star watchers...

... not star watchers.

And yet, and yet... ...

We recall that the word 'disaster' has it's ancestral roots in the once accepted view of 'malevolent astral influence'.

I really can't skip by this little beauty without a few words.

"Of all the insanely wealthy passengers booked in first class on the Titanic in April 1912, John Jacob Astor IV... was at the top of the financial heap"

Although the 'spelling' of this elite is ever so slightly different, his eternally rekindled f(l)ame, as 'wealthiest man to die in the Titanic Dis-Aster' does beg attention.

It's her fault really. You know how it is, once you start on the trail of one flower, you start seeing them all.

"The name Aster comes from the Ancient Greek word ἀστήρ (astér), meaning "star"."
"The association with stars, clearly references the flower’s shape"

"Asters were known as Eye of Christ in France and Starwort in England and Germany, and were thought to carry magical powers. The "star-flower" was believed sacred to the gods and so wreaths of asters were placed on their altars."

"One ancient myth arises from the Iron Age, when people learned to make weapons of iron. The mighty lord of the gods, Jupiter, was so angered by the destructive fighting with these hideous iron weapons that he decided to erase the entire human race by means of a flood. The gods fled the earth and the last to go, the goddess Astræa, was so saddened that she asked to be turned into a star. When the flood waters receded, all that remained was mud and slime. Astræa felt so sorry for them she wept, her tears falling as stardust which turned to lovely starflowers, or asters."

When the virgin Astraea ascended into heaven, she became a superstar. Actually she became more than a superstar, she became a whole constellation. And not just any constellation mind you.

She became the Great Virgin - Virgo.

Two varieties of the New York Aster/Astor. The latter was planted in "Trinity Cemetery".

Spot the linking of virgins & watery death? Here's another -

"HMS Astraea was a 32-gun ... frigate of the Royal Navy. She was launched in 1781 ... and was wrecked on 23 May 1808 off the coast of Anegada (translation “the drowned land") in the British Virgin Islands ...

... She is best known for her capture of the larger French frigate
Gloire in a battle on 10 April 1795, while under the command of Captain Lord Henry Paulet."
Funny what springs to mind - 10th April was the date that the future Great Virgin Titanic would set sail 117 years later. And 202 years (plus a few months) later, a certain Henri Paul would be at the helm of a Mercedes S280 which would send a once famous virgin to the stars.

Before we went flower picking, we were reminiscing that the word 'disaster' was brought into this world to describe events that happened under a 'malevolent astral influence'.

Ancient peoples revered the night skies in ways we no longer understand. There seems to have been a momentous understanding that the stars impacted our world.

"The majority of ancient sites exhibit amazingly precise astronomical alignments"

When we bring our calculated modern understanding to bear upon ancient times of vast astronomical awareness there's gotta be a bloody big shortfall.

In our ignorance, wonder & play become our tools of discovery.

For example: It is known in the world of green thumbs that certain plants grow well together whilst others make distinctly disagreeable neighbours - it's called companion planting. Here's an example;

"Corn and asters (the star flower) make bad companion plants for celery "

... wiki speaks of celery as a "chthonian (pertains to, deities or spirits of the underworld) symbol among the ancient Greeks ... [It] was said to have sprouted from the blood of Kadmilos... The spicy odour and dark leaf colour encouraged this association with the cult of death".

Wonder & play have given us another pointer -'stars' & 'death', where have we heard that before? I could be childish & wonder if plants tell us better stories than science. Here's a plant that could write a book.

And here's a little someone & something for you to wonder about -

The thing that really gets me about 'disasters' like Titanic, Mikhail Lermontov, Wahine & even Erebus are the sense of fated destiny. In each case, extremely capable men are at the helm & yet it's as if they turn a blinded eye at the fatefilled moment - as if a scripted destiny takes over on cue - etymology "destiny early 14c., from O.Fr. destinée ...The sense is of "that which has been firmly established"."

I was looking at some holy rusted metal pictures of Titanic the other day & got the strangest sensation - for an intense instant I felt a certainty, that that was always, how she was going to end up - as if the White Star Virgin was built for her rusting death. Perhaps it was simply a flashback to the movie, however it was very strong & very strange.

Come, let's look at that night again.

"I saw that ship sink, I never closed my eyes. I didn't sleep at all. I saw it, I heard it, and nobody could possibly forget it."
"I can remember the colors, the sounds, everything. The worst thing I can remember are the screams."
"It seemed as if once everybody had gone, drowned, finished, the whole world was standing still. There was nothing, just
this deathly, terrible silence in the dark night with the stars overhead"

These are the remembories of Titanic survivor, Eva Hart.
Just how much do our names direct our destiny?
Eva (Eve) Hart (Heart/Earth).
When Eva did die it was on the day of hearts & roses - Valentines's Day (1996).

Back to other watchers of the starry, starry night of 15th April, 1912.

"I have never seen such a clear sky"

"Oh, yes, the sky was very black and the stars were very bright."

"The night was one of the most beautiful I have ever seen: the sky without a single cloud to mar the perfect brilliance of the stars, clustered so thickly"

"Remember Mark Vidler's (The Star Mirror) assertion that the greatest mountains & stars align?

On 14th April 1912, the colossal White Star ship Titanic struck an iceberg -the etymology of iceberg looks like this "1774, ... of Du. ijsberg, lit. "ice mountain"."
Not only do a star & a mountain align, they literally collide - surely one of the most symbolic events of the Twentieth Century.

The Virgin of the Sea meets the Virgin of the Rocks (not by Leonardo da Vinci)

Now this is by da Vinci & she is companionably planted beside the Virgin of the Seas, Stella Maris - "For centuries sailors have sought the protection of the Blessed Virgin under the mantle of Stella Maris, i.e. Our Lady Star of the Sea."

I wonder if the ice mountain was a symbolic Eve Rest? 41-1-14 (= years/months/days) would pass before Hill-à-Ré rose to that virgin's summit.

Public Announcement:

We would like to advise passengers that we will shortly be returning to the present-slash-fantasy world. Passengers may wish to don protective eyewear as our approach takes us directly into the path of a trio of stunning supernovas.

And here they are:-

Ms Rose White, Mr Jack Dawson & (R)Ms Titanic

For those without magnifying glasses, the words below the big word above, read;
"Nothing on earth could come between them"
I think you know in which direction to look.

For those who like gardening & have extra good eyesight, we note the apparent rose design upon Mr Dawson's braces.

It's now time to look closer at the White Rose.

You may not as yet, have realised the full Lazarustorial powers of that powerful wizard, Mr Camera-on...

... for not only did he 'raise' la virgin de la mer from the grave, he also resurrected the Rose.

One year before Rose White set sail on Titanic ...

... she drowned.

This was an Ophelian death. Another virgin sacrifice, you ask? Perhaps. However Shakespearo-gynecologists do seem divided on the matter.

Rolling back the years prior to these dramatic eve-nts, we find Rose White portraying the greatest virgin of all time, in her debut acting role at 5 years of age.

She said:

"Being cast as the Virgin Mary was my first acting buzz... I took it very, very seriously. I remember really, really being Mary. Really, really feeling it."

The Internet says:

"Of all the flowers, the rose is the most closely connected with the Virgin Mary. Among Mary's titles are: First rose of martyrs, Rose soothing the afflicted, Rose giving back to all the destiny of salvation, Rose white by virginity, Rose ruddy by love, Rose white in seeking virtue, ... Flowers of the roses in springtime, Roseplant in Jerusalem, Rosebush in Jericho, and Royal virgin of David's rose."

Winding the years forward again, we return to our Olympic first class Virgin

"Winslet campaigned for the role heavily by sending Cameron daily notes from England ... [she] sent Cameron a single rose with a card signed "From Your Rose" and lobbied him by phone ... "You don't understand!" she pleaded ... "I am Rose!"

Later, she said:

"With Heavenly Creatures, all I knew I had to do was completely become that person. Titanic was totally different and nothing could have prepared me for it. We were really scared about the whole adventure."

The wizard said:

"We simply let Kate think she was nearly drowning. A little spluttering and coughing does not count in my book, because I have almost drowned several times and I know what it feels like."

They went to:
"... Fox Studios, where "the ill-fated ocean liner, built in a specially constructed water tank near Rosarita, Baja California" awaited them.

The
name Rosarito - "is derived from “El Rosario” (rosary, a necklace made with beads)" which in it's turn derives from - "rose garden" or "rose wreath," and it came to be applied to a devotion involving repetitions of the "Hail, Mary"." Hmmm... it seems that heaven is a small world too.

... And getting smaller.

For Rosarito is also home to Mary's boychild (although he's grown UP quite a lot).

Meet Titanic Jesus.

"This humongous (75 feet tall and weighing in at 40 tons) statue of Jesus Christ was commissioned by Antonio Pequeno Guerrero ('guerre' = 'war') and now stands over the old town of El Morro ... six miles south of Rosarito Beach.

Meanwhile... back on board the virgin liner things are getting distinctly holy ...

"The Rosicrucian greeting is, "May the Roses bloom upon your Cross"

"The Rosicrucians, or ‘Brethren of the Rosy Cross’ ... claimed
knowledge of all the sciences, chiefly medicine, and many secrets of the universe. These were received by tradition from the Egyptians, Chaldeans and other ancient pagan civilisations"

"Rosicrucianism is the theology of a secret society of mystics ... holding a doctrine "built on esoteric truths of the ancient past", which, "concealed from the average man, provide insight into nature, the physical universe and the spiritual realm." It is symbolized by the rosy cross."

"The original symbol of the Rosi-crucian Fraternity was a hiero-glyphic rose crucified upon a cross. The cross was often raised upon a three-stepped Calvary... The Rosicrucian rose was drawn upon the Round Table of King Arthur, and is the central motif for the links forming the chain from which the "Great George" is suspended among the jewels of The Order of the Garter" We recall that Sir Edmund Hillary was one of the jewels of that order.

Some borrowed net nibbles:
"The ROSE, was anciently sacred to Aurora and the Sun. It is a symbol of Dawn, of the resurrection of Light"
"This emblem, however, is far more specific in its iconography, the cross representing Christ, and the rose Mary Magdalen."

Let's now proceed to the cross upon which the Rose bloomed, on the Titanic Calvary.

A little background info for easier travelling:
According to wiki "The Zohar ... is the foundational work in the literature of Jewish mystical thought known as Kabballah"

Its not on my current reading list, however the following rite-up interested my mil-Lion self & created a perfect leaping off point -

"Zohar 1:6 b describes the Divine Presence as the ‘Image of the Lion’ ."

For a very historical time, our star-sun, lions (& gold) have been inseparable companions

So when it came to playfilled investigation, we really did hit the jackpot with Mr diCaprio.

Indeed what serendipitous fortune it must have been for the wizard to find this Sun King upon which to hang his Rose.

"Leo (♌) is the fifth astrological sign of the Zodiac originating from the constellation of Leo... Leo is ... a fire sign ... ruled by the Sun."

"Although “Titanic” soared at the box office in 1997, according to a recent survey, ...

... it’s most memorable line —I’m the king of the world!— sunk" -being voted top of the top three cheesiest moments in film.
Ahh but does that really matter? How many symbolic pronouncements are slipped into movies & swallowed (albeit slightly cheesily), by a de-lighted audience kept in the dark?

If you think the title Sun King is a wee bit grand for the Leo lad, think again.

"Louis XIV ... known as the Sun King (French: le Roi Soleil)"

In the 1998 film The Man in the Iron Mask (directed by Randall Wallace) Leo enters the realm of Gemini when he is rent in twain to become both the Sun King & his iron interred twin brother.

"Iron in mythology and folklore has a long and varied tradition throughout the world. As human blood smells of iron of which it is largely constituted, and blood in many traditions is equated with the life-force, similarly iron and minerals have been attributed as being the blood or life-force of the Earth."
I let wiki bring that up because of the twinning of 'iron' in title & cast - Jeremy Irons.

"it was the first movie to star Leonardo DiCaprio after the phenomenal success of Titanic. As such it automatically attracted a box-office stampede of Leo's young female fans." It was "notable for ending Titanic's ... four month stay at the summit of the U.S. box office."

Neatly nestled in the soundtrack of the iron masked man, lies 'The Rose'.

Here I rest my Sun King (sunken?) case & return to the man behind the (actor's) mask.

Leonardo diCaprio has the most magnificent birthdate for starring in any memorial movie, for he was born under the star of 'glorious' death -

"Remembrance Day ... is a day to commemorate the sacrifices of members of the armed forces and of civilians in times of war, specifically since the First World War. It is observed on 11 November ... major hostilities of World War I were formally ended at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918 ... The day was specifically dedicated by King George V ... British, Canadian, South African, and ANZAC traditions include two minutes of silence at the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month (11:00 am, 11 November)."

Leonardo Wilhelm DiCaprio was born 11/11/74 (=11). I realise numerologists would add the 19 of 1974 - still, the numbers are interesting n'est-ce pas?

Let's play with his nom de character - Jack Dawson. It's his surname that I have had the most fun with. I particularly like d'Or (French -'of gold') + Son/Sun ...

... and it really 'works' well with Leo.

At this stage of the novel, sorry I mean article, I find myself being reminded of the Sumerian goddess, Innana - she of the boat of heaven fame. Here's a little more about her;

"The goddess Inanna ... was the patron and special god/goddess of the ancient Sumerian city of Erech (Uruk), the City of Gilgamesh. As Queen of heaven, she was associated with the Evening Star (the planet Venus), and sometimes with the Moon. She may also have been associated the brightest stars in the heavens"
"Inanna's symbol is an eight-pointed star or a rosette. She was associated with lions — even then a symbol of power — and was frequently depicted standing on the backs of two lionesses."

Continuing...

Most movie goers will be well aware that male directors have long had a penchant for getting their (attractive) actresses naked, theregore I never gave much thought to this scene ...

... except that, for it's 'across the board' viewership, it had seemed a little over the top. Know you that it was the wizard who you watched, sketching the Rose?

"One of the most striking Sumerian myths describes Inanna passing through seven gates of hell into the underworld. At each gate some of her clothing and her ornaments are removed until at the last gate she is entirely naked"

"Inanna dresses elaborately for the visit, with a turban, a wig, a lapis lazuli necklace, beads upon her breast..."

I'm no scholar, but wondering is free & fun.

After the portrait & the 'Heart of the Ocean' are locked away in the safe, the artist fomerly known as Jack & his model are chased through the corridors by Celine Dion singing "You are safe in my heart etc ...". Oh no hang on I'm getting muddled.

To proceed - if we overlay myth, over the ensuing scene, then the strange race through fire & steam of the engine room, becomes a descent into & through, hell. *FYI we can now reveal that there is actually a door at the end of hell. There is also the possibility that this may lead to steamy sex in the back of a vintage car, so quit worrying.

Below follows some strangeish, secretish text from a site about the Rosy Croix - thought it might give you food for thought (or possibly indigestion).
"In the great Lion’s bed the Sun and Moon are born. They are married and beget a king. The king feeds on the Lion’s blood, which is the king’s father and mother, who are at the same time his brother and sister. I fear I betray the secret!" Yes indeedy, sooooo very many secrets in such very questionable hands.

"In Zohar 1:3b the Zohar discusses the Rose as a Palace and a key. It is the key that opens and closes- the key of David."

At the end of the movie, in true son of god style, the Le d'Or Sun dies, most fittingly, hanging on to a wooden d'(o)or, icicles creating his thorny halo.

One month before Titanic was released, another Sun King was sacrificed similarily.

The leader of the band INRI, sorry I mean INXS, was hung upon a door on 22 November, 1997. Once upon that day, 34 years earlier, the Apollonian Sun King (born of a Rose), & leader of the band U2, I mean US, was sacrificed with a crown of bullets. In Delos, sorry I mean Dallas.

When I wrote the first half of Rose White, I must admit I had an article in mind. Once mine was up & posted, I went to check on the art work of fellow bloggers. Aferrismoon had obviously been engaging in mind reading experimentation for there upon his site were some of the contents of my mind -
"Beginning in 1957 Dr.Ewen Cameron , a Scot from Bridge of Allan , got a job from the CIA".

Quite a while ago I followed a link to this place (which may or may not be bollocks). I read a little, not a lot (too many 'answers' reduce our Super Powers of wonder & play). The linking, in this article, of Cameron to Cameron, Mind Control Expert to errr... mind control expert was certainly interesting.

Titanic's Sun King said:
"I have no connection with me during that whole Titanic Phenomenon and what my face became around the world"

The wizard said:
that "he needed the cast to feel as though they were really on the Titanic, its liveliness, and "to take that energy and give it to Jack, he's an artist who is able to have his heart soar "

At the heart of the Titanic movie, the wizard placed a heart (like a diamond in the sky).

Let's use it as a directional beacon & see where it takes us. After all Celine ("heavenly; the moon") Dion ("Short form of Dionysius") did say it will go on & on.

If we place a heart over the movie's brightest stars, we are lead in two revealing directions.

Let's look first to Leo the Lion-heart.

Beating within his breast, we find Regulus ('little king').

Regulus] is "the brightest star in the constellation Leo and one of the brightest stars in the nighttime sky."
See the curvy line in the picture above, that's the ecliptic - the path of the Sun.

In Mystery of the White Lions, Credo Mutwa says that his people believe that when the sun passes over this heart of the lion, "a great kingdom will fall or be born". He calls lions 'star beasts' - & the word he uses is Tsau! - a word considered so sacred, it is almost never used.
He goes on to say that lions are particularly connected to the middle star in the belt of Orion, the Ndebele people call it Mbube or "Lion". The constellation Leo is known as the Exiled Lion because a lion that walks alone is old & has been exiled from the pride, neverheless it is of of huge significance.

From elsewhere upon the waters of the internet;

"As the brightest star in Leo, Regulus almost always has been universally associated in ancient cultures with the concept of royalty or kingly power. The name Regulus comes from the Latin rex, or king. The star was known in Arabia as Malikiyy, the Kingly One; in Greece, as the "Star of the King"; in ancient Babylon, as Sharru or the King; to the even more ancient Akkadians of Mesopotamia it represented Amil-gal-ur, the legendary King of the Celestial Sphere who ruled before the great flood. The Hindu title Magha signifies the Mighty or the Great One. The Persian name Miyan means the Central One or the Star of the Center."

"Regulus is known as one of the four Royal Stars of the heavens, the other three being Aldebaran, Fomalhaut, and Antares... These four Royal Stars are considered the sentinels watching over other stars and form a Fixed Cross in the heavens."

And for those who are fans of God the Father - "the Latin Cor Leonis is the equivalent of... the Heart of the Royal Lion" - you know them as 'the family' that brought back horse sacrifice & popped it into their bedroom & your living room.

We cannot leave without looking in the direction of the statue...

.... who was believed to be looking in his own reflectional direction during 10,500BC.

Looked at from a different angle, one wonders if the director had a change of heart with his original cast member. The rear view proportions suggesting a change of face'n'fate.

When I first saw this map of Ross Island in Antarctica, I was struck by it's likeness to the sphinx.

In Regulus position, at the heart of this sphinx, lies Mt Erebus, southernmost active volcano in the (under)world & gravesite of the Air NZ DC10 that slashed into it's slopes in 1979. You may recall that in Greek mythology, Erebus can be translated to 'gateway to hell'.

I find it quite interesting that such similar sounding mountains, Erebus & Everest should have gripped worldwide attention through New Zealanders. They are even linked through a 'titan' - "Sir Edmund [Hillary] was scheduled to act as the guide for the fatal flight, but had to cancel due to other commitments" - (Hill-a-re's titanic lifetale has yet more to reveal in the next post). It also interests me that both mounts have famous remains that remain to this day, clinging to their tall tale slopes.

The wizard said:
"I made Titanic because I wanted to dive to the shipwreck, not because I particularly wanted to make the movie. “The Titanic was the Mount Everest of shipwrecks, and, as a diver, I wanted to do it right."

Now lets place the Heart of the Ocean over the Rose ...

... & see what appears & ...

... then disappears. The once famed virgin who was proclaimed

... Queen of Hearts by the medi(c)ated public & England's Rose ...

by a Royal psychopomp.

"Now you belong to heaven,
and
the stars spell out your name
Good bye Englands Rose
"

Just before the coupling of the Sun Lion & the Moon Virgin on board Titanic, Jack D'Or Sun assumes the role of chauffeur & inquires of the Rose:

"Where to my Lady?"
"To the stars," says she.
We recall that blame for the death of Diana in the moon tunnel is most often affixed on the shoulders of the chauffeur, Henri Paul.

"The three national symbols of England are the St. George's cross, the red rose and the Three Lions crest"

England's history is steeped in bloody rose petals - it's most famous Rosarian epic being the 'War of the Roses' starring (Michael) York & (Burt) Lancaster - hang on I might have that wrong. Nevertheless, if 'roses' equate & relate to stars as I suspect, then this fracas becomes the original 'Star Wars.'

The Tudor Rose - symbol of the unification of the Houses of York (white rose) & Lancaster (red rose) under Henry VII. Interestingly, another unification takes place on Titanic where the blond Kate Winslett becomes the "auburn redhead," Rose White.

Between the Death of Diana Spectacular (31st August, 1997), & the spectacular world-wide release of Titanic (19th December, 1997), we find "111 days from the start date to the end date, end date included."

Diana's Oscar winning performance in life was giving, perfectly aligned birth to "the projected 2012 English "sun king," Prince William. He was spectacularly born "with the Sun within arc-minutes of zero Cancer, i.e. at the Summer solstice" & "there had been a solar eclipse that noon."

Her Oscar winning performance in the after-life, was her death
"An estimated 2.5 billion people watched the princess's funeral."
It is recorded that "shockwave from the final explosion [of Krakatoa] reverberated around the globe 7 times", I wonder how that compares with the Tsarina bomb that was detonated in an underground Parisian bunker in 1997.

The wizard's re-launch of Titanic erupted onto the big screen, turned it's stars into supernovas & eclipsed the box office records from then until now. The amount of viewing, re-viewing & re-venuing is staggering.

"Nominated for fourteen Academy Award, it won eleven, including Best Picture It became the highest-grossing film of all time, with a worldwide total of over $1.8 billion, and remained so for twelve years until Cameron's directorial follow-up, Avatar, surpassed it in 2010. The film is due to be re-released in theatres in 2011 after Cameron completes its 3-D transformation." (Wiki).

The very same year, the Royal Chief Priest & pschopomp to the stars, recorded the titanic single of all time - 'Candle in the Wind 1997' aka 'Good Bye England's Rose'.
"With over 37 million copies sold, it is the best-selling single of all time since records began ... As a testament to the single's success, it is estimated that at the peak of sales, almost six copies of the single were sold across the world per second."

These numbers & quantites are on astronomical god-like scales. We think we live in the same world as these stars, but I'm more & more inclined to think we do not. In some god-like way, these seeming mortals are transformers of gargantuan amounts of energy, that would fry the brains of the dopey ones (you & I).

I'm reminded of a story here in NZ of a man who bought a Lamborghini & then went straight out & parked it very fast into a lamp post- he couldn't handle it's energy. While the majority of us crawl dazedly through existence, there are others channeling, harnessing & transforming mega amounts of energy on a daily basis.

What are they building I wonder? And why does it require so much 'star power'?

More Cruxing still to come

Titanic End Credits:

"Paul Burrell [Diana's butler] claimed to have wrenched a bloodied engagement ring from Princess Diana's body as she lay in a Paris morgue ... He said he planned to hurl them overboard during a trip on the liner Saga Rose in January 2003"

... & of that floral ship "She was sold to Saga Shipping 1997, who renamed her MS Saga Rose."

A little something I forgot first time round:- One of the most famous movies of all time, The African Queen has some rather interesting parallels with the BIG movie.

In both movies the star is a read-headed Rose, played by an actress called Kate/Katherine. In The African Queen, Katherine Hepburn plays a virgin called Rose Sayer. The book from which the movie is taken, gives the Rose the number 33 (years/sayer). Towards the end of this big movie the Queen sinks.

There is a weird scene added after this, that was not in the book "In the movie the German captain attempts to hang Rose and Charlie" - I watched the movie a while ago & that bit felt strange.
Additional - off this topic, but on the mark:
In the interests of regaining our sense of power, here's a link to a court room scene that suggests how frail the ptb are, without our consent. (Thanks Jaspal)
